Brought in during the outgoing in-house development team’s final month for knowledge transfer and systems handover. Took sole technical ownership on their departure. Authored role specifications, screened candidate CVs presented by the supplying consultancy, and selected a contract delivery team. Replatformed the business onto AWS serverless, consolidated multiple booking platforms post-merger across the holiday group’s brands, and selected and handed over to a new permanent engineering team.
